Our Mission
Through Christ’s love, New Hope empowers families to break through cycles of poverty and create a flourishing community.
New Hope Community Ministries is a unique nonprofit serving Prospect Park, Haledon, and families from nearby North Haledon, NJ. Located on the border of Paterson, over 1 in 10 residents in our core service area live below the poverty line.
Now in our 20th year, New Hope has grown from a food pantry into a hub for healing and hope. We offer counseling, ESL, immigration support, and programs for women, children, and teens. Our food initiatives—including The Harvest Buying Club—reach hundreds each month. We also host a low-cost Christmas Marketplace and Back-to-School Depot for enrolled families.
Back the Mission
Every act of generosity makes a difference. Whether you give once or choose to build long-term impact through monthly support, you’re helping families move from crisis to stability—and that changes everything.
